The Vehicle Inspection Officer was burdened with guilt as he scrolled through his Phone engrossed with different reports and pictures of the accident that has gone viral on Social Media.

Maybe he could have saved the life of the victim had he gone ahead to do what he had intended and ought to do as a vehicle inspection officer.

THE DECEPTION, THE COMPROMISE AND THE TRAGEDY

The vehicle was flagged down during one of their patrol operations and he discovered that what appeared to be a seatbelt across the drivers should was actually a picture of a seatbelt on his T-Shirt forming part of the fibric design.

He imagined the number of Law Enforcement Agents this driver has deceived by using fabric design to evade the Traffic Law on compulsory using of the Seatbelt. He angrily had wanted to confiscate (seize) the deceptive T-Shirt as more Law Enforcement Agents could be deceived by the same, but the driver pleaded to now wear and always wear real seatbelt forthwith. He was presenting some money to him which he found too tempting to resist.

The fears of the VIO have come to pass claiming the life of this driver in a ghastly vehicle accident.

OUR ADVICE, CONCLUSION AND RECOMMENDATIONS

Dear reader, please avoid deceitful compliance with the law especially where it pertains to life safety. For the sake of your family and loved ones, stop yourself from doing so even if no one stops you.

Evade not compulsory use of seatbelt, evade not compulsory Vehicle Inspection Test prior to securing Certificate of Road Worthiness and more just to be precise.

The law is for you and not you for the law.
